This industrial media converter is especially developed for applications with a high data load such as video over IP or streaming. The PDOR (PD Optical Reboot) function can be used to remotely switch the PoE output of the media converter off and on. In combination with the SFP autochecking function of our RY switches, it is possible to monitor devices such as IP cameras and automatically restart them in the event of a fault.
Its compact design, wide temperature range and high flexibility make this product ideal for the us in remote locations. The media converter disposes of a optical SFP+ port and two copper ports for 10/100/1000/2500TX which supports PoE 802.3af/at/bt up to 90W each. The media converter is delivered with a clamp for DIN-rail mounting and a clip for wall mounting.

Special features

The PDOR function, in combination with our RY switches, allows a camera malfunction to be automatically resolved.
The PDOR function also allows remote switching off and on of an IP camera.

System notes

For the active camera monitoring and control, the connected switch must support the SFP auto-checking function.
