The VI-COAX-2400WP transmits 10/100 Mbps Ethernet and PoE/PoE+ via coaxial cable up to a maximum distance of 500 m. Pass-through technology allows PoE, e.g. from a PoE switch, to be passed on via coaxial cable to reach an IP camera, for example. The devices do not require any software configuration. The VI-COAX-2400WP is housed in an IP67-rated enclosure and is therefore suitable for direct outdoor installation without an additional weatherproof enclosure. The device must be connected to a device from the VI-COAX-24xy series on the opposite side of the COAX link.

The PoE power is reduced by the line resistance along the cable length. We will be happy to help you estimate the power still available at the far end of the route.
