VI-00024

The VI-00024 is an innovative test tool that can be used to measure how much PoE power is available at each port of a PoE source, an injector, a midspan or a PoE switch. For this purpose, the VI-00024 simulates a PoE sink and varies its load information. The VI-00024 is compliant with the IEEE 802.3af/at/bt standards up to 74W.
The VI-00024 operates in both manual and automatic modes. In manual mode, the user can manually increase the PoE consumption of the VI-00024 until it reaches the maximum available PoE. In auto mode, the VI-00024 measures the maximum available PoE power in a few seconds with the push of a button. The VI-00024 contains a rechargeable battery that can be charged via a USB Type-C port using any standard USB charger. It is very power efficient and can operate for several days on a full charge.
