Dieser videooptimierte Switch wurde eigens für Anwendungen im Aussenbereich und mit hoher Datenlast, wie z.B. Video over IP, Video streaming aentwickelt. Durch das IP-67 geschütze Gehäuse inkl. Anschlüssen, lässt sich der Switch auch ohne separaten Wetterschutz im Freien montieren. Der Switch lässt sich auch direkt über PoE speisen, was eine lokale elektrische Speisung unnötig macht. Der VI-3003WP gibt auch PoE ab. Dadurch lassen sich wiederum IP-Kameras über die Datenkabel speisen. Die kompakte Bauform und die reduzierte Portzahl machen diesen Switch ideal für kleinere Anlagen oder als abgesetzte Einheit in einem grösseren Verbund

PoE OUT means the switch is a PSE (Power Sourcing Device) and feeds e.g. a camera.
PoE IN means the switch is a PD (Powered Device) and is powered by PoE.
The seals inside the stuffing boxes can be split. This means that pre-assembled connection cables can also be used. However, the space inside the stuffing boxes is limited. We therefore recommend the RJ45 plugs from AMP. E.g. available from Farnell. Cf. picture at the very bottom of this data sheet.
Power supply via PoE or directly at the unit with 56VDC or 12VDC (without PoE).
